GOLF TOURNAMENT PRESS RELEASE
BASALT, CO- Alpine Christian Academy will host its annual golf tournament at the Roaring Fork Club’s challenging Nicklaus Signature Course on May 14, 2007. The tournament, which is in its 7th year, will welcome golfers of all skills and abilities, with some exciting competition for the most strategic golfers. Wooded corridors along the Roaring Fork River and Spring Creek, and the scenic upper benches will create distinct experiences for players, and the event is a great way to support the efforts of the non-profit Christian school.
Last year, funds raised were used for ACA families needing tuition assistance, and this year is no exception. By popular demand, the school will once again apply 100% of the funds raised to help students in the Roaring Fork Valley receive a quality private education, regardless of their ability to pay. Sponsors will be joining forces with other businesses and families throughout the valley and receive special advertising privileges for their contribution. Players on the course will enjoy a wonderful tournament with fun prizes, dinner and special awards. The scramble kicks off with a shotgun start at 1:30 pm.
“The generosity of our players and sponsors are the driving force behind this event. The tournament is always full of a spirit of competition and friendship that can’t be beat! But really, who wouldn’t want to be playing golf at the picturesk Roaring Fork Club, and ending the day with dinner at the Clubhouse right as the sun sets. It’s going to be breathtaking.” Says Mick Bennett, the school’s Headmaster and a golfer at the annual event.
Alpine Christian Academy’s mission is to equip children academically and spiritually with a biblical worldview, preparing them to go forth into the world to share the message of the Gospel in every activity and vocation.
