For over 19 years, Alpine Christian Academy in Basalt, Colorado has been serving the needs of families in the Roaring Fork Valley.  The school is a private K-12 and preschool committed to Biblically-based education and character development of young people.  Because its students have historically achieved notable academic success, the school appeals to both families with Christian priorities and those with educational excellence priorities.  Family involvement in the school and its activities is considered paramount.

A highly-committed Board of Directors and staff lead the Academy’s efforts.  Curriculum and academic standards operating policies, staff evaluation, programmatic offerings, facilities, risk management, as well as the pursuit of accreditation through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), are some of the areas addressed herein.

Ongoing focus in quality curriculum, facilities, equipment/technology, and the supporting administrative infrastructure are common among private, non-profit schools, and still on the forefront of the Academy’s plans.
